Sorry - for some context, RadioTime allows people to listen to radio stations and shows online, on tv, or via a variety of mobile devices.
- Wow. Nobody has ever thought of this before! Combine that with the original mark, and you're rich!monospaced

The use of a play button in green is incredibly unique.
- ditch the play sign turn the "o" into a old school alarm clock ;) lolinstil_design

*puts on heaven and hell

yeah, that play button is way off
- I mean, you don't push play to hear the radio, you simply dial in and listenmonospaced

idk its a little boring. i think you need a better concept.

Is that Arial?

RadioTime has been around for about 10 years and has actually become quite successful (i.e., $3M in annual revenue), so the company is not new to the scene and the logo should definitely NOT be turn and burn. This should be a "real" logo for a real company.
- yes sir!Gucci
- i would then explore more ideas. this seems generic.bulletfactory
- You typed that in case they are lurking, didn't you? :)designbot

- I typed it so that you guys would appropriately critical. :)MondoMorphic

it's the most basic, obvious solution you could possibly come up with. looks like you started brainstorming and then settled on the first thing that came to mind.
get back to pen and paper and churn out another 50 thumbnails and narrow it down from there
at least you got this one out of the way, maybe include it in your presentation as filler
- ukit0
So they've already launched it? Isn't it too late for feedback at this point?
- looks like those generic automatically generated spam sites doesn't it ?hilchev

I also have a radio station and site (well...., the station and the playlist are still W.I.P.) but you can see a screen... The translation is radio bullet. You can see the logo in the middle :P

Yes - they're already considering a redesign.
- so, you're asking what we think of the old logo before you redesign it?
bjladams - Like I said to begin with, we wanted some expert feedback on the current logo.MondoMorphic
- I know what I think is wrong with it, but I wanted to know what YOU thought was wrong.MondoMorphic
- well, i still dont like the play button- and although the "t" and "w" line up- it looks way unbalanced.bjladams
- so, you're asking what we think of the old logo before you redesign it?

also (and it could just be me but...) the tagline sounds incredibly awkward.
- Is "what's on radio" a question, or a statement?monospaced

Let me sum it up our "expert" feedback:
Green play button: unoriginal, cliché and nothing to do with radio whatsoever
Typeface: ugly as shit
- dbloc0
most radios don't have a play button, so the logo doesn't really make sense.
- ukit0
Well, on the internets they do, right?
- ukit0
If your client wants to really bring their site up to par, I'd recommend a logo and redesign of entire site. Slapping a new logo on the existing site won't take you too far IMO.
Of course, there are obviously tons of sites like this that we as designers might find ugly but which do just fine and rake in millions.
- I agree. We're redesigning the site as well.MondoMorphic

i've never known a radio to have a play button on it. those are generally reserved for dvd, cd, or even tape players.
