I'd like to see him redesign an umbrella.

Speaking of American heresy. I've been using the word "pissed" to decribe people who are angry and not drunk. I just told somebody in design that an advertiser is "pissed" that his copy got cut. I think American way of talking is superior.

Dyson's working on an air con unit which doesn't contain any coolant or fan technology; you install it on two sides of your house and simply open up a co-ordinated dual sliding mechanism which carries air from one side of teh device to the other. Its going to be revolutionary

- Yes.Orbit
- so we iz sayin teh Dyson is for the in-between market between a propa fan and an air con, the £200 air cooling marketKhurram
- Yeah. Not so desirable when you think of it as a "make do on a budget" option.Orbit
- i like that, a poor mans air con for the budget price. Does it cool the full room? or just your face?Khurram

On the day rate they charge me out at as a CD, I think the hot air off this thing will be much more useful...

- an overly self-conscious attempt at self-deprecation whilst in fact bragging? Pretty ingeniousraskolnikov

I was serious by the way when I said it was cool, and I would defo. buy one if I had the money etc., bu tI am hoping that all the folk taking the piss are just taking the piss..... unless they want me to come over there and charge loads per day.

Actually it's pretty cool. And I thought it was going to be about 1000 or so. So the 350 was no biggie. But still, it's a fan. And yeah it looks cool, but without the blades, you can't stick your face near them and make your voice sound all cool and otherworldly.
