personally I like to see the photos of the work, as it adds authenticity. Also you can see the paper texture etc.
Web work on the other hand.... why some people take photos of their screen. Its just dumb.
Link us up so we can see the work

Both, show your work in detail and photo to show completed design..

work = photos
logos = jpgs

both...
But it depends on how you shoot your stuff and how much work you're showing... Personally I do think all photography like

http://www.madethought.com/
http://www.madebysix.com/
is the best way to go but it can get repetitive and it's a fuckload of work to create a proper setup and possibly money if you don't have a tripod and the skills to do it yourself...

yeah i agree photos of the work looks nicer but sometimes it harder to shoot - to make it look nice/professional. i dont have a studio at home. i got an ok camera (canon 400D) but the lighting etc is hard to set up and make look good.... anyway will do some experiments with it on the weekend

I think photography works best, sometimes jpgs can work for certain individual projects but in the majority, photography is the best option.
If you don't have one, you can pick a tripod up for 10 or 20 quid on ebay, well worth picking one up.
