I don't know, but you might want to add a math.round() to that ratio (so it sets the width to whole pixels)

there is no hash sign in the code you posted (before featuredPost) on pastebin > could be your problem

after adding:
var maxWidth = 200;
the script worked fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer, but not in Safari.. Safari executes the code before the images are loaded if you another call to the function on body.onload then it works in Safari as well.
