I've been too lazy to update my site so I set up a portfolio with Krop.com. Any thoughts on using it vs having your own portfolio website? Comments appreciated. Thanks.

Your work looks better on the Krop folio, not a fan of your site tbh.

If you're a photographer/illustrator/industr... designer, then maybe Krop. But since you're a designer , definitely keep doing the custom personal site.

I would agree with JnrMadison. Your personal site should be minimal and let your work stand out. Not overwhelm it.

Cool, thanks. I've had my personal site for a while and needed a change. I like how Krop let's the work speak for itself, nice and clean. Why reinvent the wheel I say...

if you're a web/interactive designer you'd be better off going with your own site

Something uncool about the krop portfolio. When I google your name, there no answer regarding your portfolio on krop. But your personal website appears first. My take.

...as you should be using your skills to showcase your own work. it's a chance to show your chops, and is expected.

I guess I'll have to brush up on my coding skills. I'm more of a designer, so I just got lazy to make a new site lol. Thanks for the feedback!

    what's a designer?

krop folio is better in your case, try to sign up for cargo collective they have a much better interface than krop. It would demonstrate that you understand differences between user interfaces on the web. Something a designer with web stuff should know a few things about.
