Aye JJ, I thought that about Egyptienne, I liked the condensed weights a lot and seems reasonable. Popular is nice, but you can't just buy it from the site as its licensed in a weird way. I've emailed them to ask about costs, waiting to hear back but i fear the cost may be too prohibitive for the job, hence looking for a backup solution.

maybe RePublic?
http://www.fontshop.com/fonts/do…- Think republic is a little too classical, Soho could be an option, ta VM!ian
- actually RePublic looks pretty modern and very blocky once printed. Got a fontshop catalog here and it looks very blocky.VectorMasked

Morgan Avec from Feliciano?
http://www.felicianotypefoundry.…Also Serifa, or if you prefer a more condensed cut from Egyptienne URW: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/urw…

Not a fan of Morgan, but I was checking out Serifa. Egyptienne is an interesting one too, quite quirky but some similar features.
Also like Archer.
Not sure on some of the others since I'm keen to use it as a text font, not headlines and some look a bit too chunky for setting long copy in.
Thanks for the suggestions, some thinking to do.
- Egyptienne is Serifa, just expanded.jimbojones
- Also, why not get Popular if you like it? Great font
