The net is global, the content should be free to access wherever, the only exception would be the BBC where its not advert supported, but the cheek to show me a fucking advert then tell me the video is not available in my country. CUNTS the lot of em

Who the hell thinks they have the right to decide what we can and cannot have access to. It'd be like going into a library and only allowing certain people to to read certain books. It makes absolutely no sense.
I'd like to find the person who came up with this idea and kick them squarely in the crotch.

Baskerville, providers seem to consolidate, bigger companies buy out smaller networks and so on. What competition are you talking about? How many providers can you choose in your area (that are not actually resellers of one service). Is the number really increasing?
Laws like those requiring monitoring traffic and storing people's emails are handcrafted for those big players who can easily afford such nonsense.
