I've got a massive proposal here from one of the sales guys, and It needs a lot of tweaking...unfortunately, the sort of stuff I'd like to do, i'm more comfortable doing in Indesign...
anyone have any experience or advice on importing a word doc into Indesign, or converting it to indesign?....is it possible to convert it back to word when you're done?....
any advice would help....
I've tried placeing the file, but it only seems to do one page at a time....not very helpful...
Copy and paste, my friend. Find and replace.
run, don't walk.
Unfortunately, a Word file and an InDesign file are so different any hopes of converting and sharing files between the two applications are likely unrealistic.
this is not looking very hopeful ;(
place, check the "show import options" for more control. should import whole document, not only one page.
Are you sure that it only imports one page or do you only see the content of the first page, cause normally the remaining content is inside the text box but you have to make it flow to another in order to see it...
