Bridge Favorites + Portable HDD

  I'm trying to change a behaviour in Bridge.

  I have a folder in my favorites that's on a portable HDD. If that HDD is not connected and I click on the fav link, it'll complain it's not there and automatically remove it from my favs... it's effing annoying.

  I've googled + adobe exchange for this and nada... anyone knows if it's even possible to change this behaviour?
