  • fios doesnt come to greenpoint they only offer highspeed internet and I Dont know how fast that is– joseprieto1/3

  verizon "high speed" is just DSL, doesn't get faster than 3-5 mbit.
  RCN was the fastest I could get in Manhattan, 24mbit

  I use dsl (Qwest) and it's always worked fine. Noticeably slower than cable if more than one person is using it at a time, but it's always worked pretty good. Unless your always downloading I'd go DSL.

  well I can either go with timewarner / road runner internet or verizon highspeed internet.... what do you guys think?
