It was weird. I only watched about 30 minutes (it was boring and predictable). The presenting-on-backlots-and-other… idea started to grow on me, but it was unfamiliar. The venue seated less than half the people that it usually does, so I'm guessing everyone else was seated elsewhere, or that there was some hidden section.
The "fans" that ran up to each stage for each performance were hired actors.
The host was very straight-forward with some of the things he said (so there was shock value), but I didn't find him to be too funny.
