  the specs for this have been leaked and everyone thinks that it's going to steal business from the 1ds mark 3, but truth is the mark 4 is supposedly out in feb 09 with a 32mp ff sensor & a whole slew of new features to boot with faster shooting in different formats, etc.

  this new 5d will rule though, and i am currently saving for it. weather sealing is all that was lacking about it the first time around.

  there are rumors it's either a 5d mark II or two separate cameras; a 3d and 7d. one would be a slight improvement to the 5 with minimal new features for around $2k, the other would be closer to the 1ds mk3 for $3k, with the 1ds mk4 (32mp etc) coming out in feb 09 for $5-6k.
