Just a work-flow suggestion: numbering posts somehow, so that you can address a reply to a specific post.

- Just put a permalink at the beginning of your post I guess. Easier than implementing an actual post # per topic.ismith

Sorry if my bad English didn't allow to express my idea more efficiently. The permalink does not allow you reply.
I meant: you could click on a number or reply to-post-thing and your post could id the post you're replying to (maybe auto-render the text that is being addressed by keywords or something).
Referencing is not so hard to do server-side.
Anyway, it was just an idea. funk you very much.
