I recall a theory by some blogger ( Brad Hicks) that all American
subcultures from neopaganism and polyamory, cyberpunks, gamers and Linux users etc are in reality the same subculture, which has its origin in the history of science fiction conventions, and all of these subcultures are nothing but a way of socializing for people suffering from Asperger's syndromeI believe the Republican party is similar, like something that has been invented to keep the assholes busy. The greediest, poorest or richest, people who are preoccupied with money one way or the other, christians in the hand of an angry god, anxious fighters of pedophilia, people with other pathologies who are bitter in some way, short in stature, latent homosexuals etc, most intolerant etc, all of them are drawn to the right wing... I see no other explanations.

I don't want to see Santorum get that close. No one thought Scott Brown had a chance winning in MA either.

Only thing guaranteeing Obama wins again is the minority vote and conservative republican blacks.
Santorum = conservative christian so these voters will never vote for a mormon. These christians will try to get the black vote(conservative baptists) but santorum already burned that bridge most likely conservative black christians will vote for obama. Obama wins!
Obama approved natural gas drilling = big oil/gas who give a lot of money to romney but will likely vote for obama.
ron paul = young republicans kinda like nader who could take some needed votes from a republicon. Good!
Newt appeals to teh old republicans sitting in their retirement home. Newt just babbles and will drop out soon.
You'll see Obama starting to appease to republicons more, get corporations on board, make some jobs and keep big oil gas happy. All the while we get hit at the pumps.
But as Bill Mahr said unemployment is down confidence is up! yeaaahy!

The people running Republican party just want to get Romney through the primary because he is the only one who remotely has a shot. Santorum and Gingrich are jokes. Romney is boring but they will throw a more exciting candidate on the VP role (probably Marco Rubio from Florida)
By November it will be incredibly close and either Obama or Romney will probably win by a couple points. If Romney wins Republicans will probably control all three branches of government and push through some pretty radical changes to welfare, taxes, etc.
A lot of people are scared by Santorum's religious views but I think Romney could actually be more radical in his policies. Just like GW Bush he seems moderate but the corporate interests funding him are not moderate.
- agree. once we see more of a point separation we will see who gets the money from corporate america.74LEO

Neo Nazi runs on the Republican ticket in Illinois
Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolph Hitler's birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois' 3rd Congressional District.
"As far as I'm concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews," Jones said. "It's the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV."

Poll after poll in recent months has indicated that Americans have a high level of concern over Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, with one poll showing fully half of the nation wants Congress to investigate the question.
But reporters for the traditional media – networks, major newspapers, major news corporations and conglomerates – mostly have giggled when talk turns to the serious question of just what the U.S. Constitution requires of presidents.
Nevertheless, media organizations from all political persuasions are seeking admittance to a news conference to be held by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz.
The event is tomorrow at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time in Phoenix, 3 p.m. Eastern, and will be live-streamed by WND.
The topic of discussion will be an investigation by Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse into concerns about Obama’s eligibility. It’s the first time an official law enforcement report has addressed many of the allegations about the presumptive 2012 Democratic nominee for president.
