"What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of fuckin' assholes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way!"

I don't think Hilary changed the minds of any Trump supporters but she definitely won the debate. Do any of you have family members that support Trump? Fucking brutal to deal with.

    • The problem is Hillary had memorized lines, they both came across psychotic.Hayoth
    • Dahhhhhhh ohhk GeorgeRamanisky2
    • Knowing what you're talking about isn't "memorizing lines"monospaced
    • haha, mono always defending the criminals. Hayoth is right. i couldnt watch it, so bad on both sides. it wasnt a real debate it was qbn side note rantsyurimon
    • Oh, she was reciting memorized lines. That opening remark was the most obviously scripted thing I've ever witnessed.section_014

    • Positions are all wrong. Trump should be on the left and Hillary should be on the right. Also Trump should have a blue tie.omg

    • its pretty obvious you and moldy. few others on here. i get it you get off on expressing hate.yurimon
    • yes, I hate him, but you're wrong about the reasons, and I really don't appreciate you just making things up stories about me, it's weirdmonospaced
    • but nothing I've said here is related to hate, it's related to his performance in last night's debate, which is obvious if you look at what I'm actually writingmonospaced
    • hate is hate. dude. so what are your reasons?yurimon
    • please, man, I don't want to fight. I didn't say anything hateful about himmonospaced
    • my reasons for not liking trump go back many years, related to how he's conducted business, his views on certain social issues, and how he treats certain peoplemonospaced

    • once again, I'm not hateful of trump, and I didn't say anything hateful here ... it's really weird that you keep saying I ammonospaced
    • you just said you hate him. 7 posts up. common dude.yurimon
    • ugh, yes... I admitted that after the fact, which is that I wasn't being hateful toward him, I'm only discussing the debate performancemonospaced
    • and even then, you're wrong about the reasons, and I really don't appreciate you making up stories about memonospaced
    • yeah yeah, given you jump at any chance to show disdain for anything middle america, it pretty obvious.yurimon
    • lol, are you basing this on my jokes about people calling Hillary satan? c'mon, that's not disdain for middle america, and certainly NOT hate for trump dudemonospaced
    • ohhh yuriRamanisky2
    • you said it yourself, just cant deal with the fact you part of the hate while preaching against it. no biggie something you can work on if you like.yurimon

    • Wow you really don't get it. You accused me of that before I admitted it. But the FACT remains that I did not express that before, so you're just full of shit.monospaced
    • Doesn't matter though. Doesn't come close to your hate filled existence for Hillary and anyone educated, or your unending love for a moron.monospaced
    • And that's okay. You can support trump even if he lied dozens of times, can't finish sentences and has no grasp on policy or technology. It's fine. You love himmonospaced
    • I'm indifferent and dont hate, interesting how the most triggered accusing trump of hate are in turn the most hateful, judgemental angry types.yurimon
    • I'm also not coming from hateful place, so you can see why I'm a little put off by your insistence on the matter. You get defensive when I turn it on you, btwmonospaced

    A friends perspective on Facebook:

    ****

    That was bad.
Clinton needs to focus on winning over people who aren't sold on her, i.e. working class white males and their families (particularly in the rust belt and down south). It's as if her team prepped her using strategies that have repeatedly proven themselves ineffectual over the past half year. Righteous indignation, facts, taking the high road, stats, "acting Presidential," calling Trump a bad person - these are all tactics that have been deployed by everyone who tried to slow this fucking psycho's roll since day one.
All she did tonight was preach to the choir and set herself up for easy shots against vulnerabilities in her own record (the TPP, minority relations (shoulda had Alicia Machado in the front row, along with any number of ex-Trump employees who've been abused by him and his people), super-predators (shoulda IMMEDIATELY hit back with Central Park), birtherism, etc.). Sadly, it doesn't matter that she's now in the right on most of these issues (at least rhetorically); the people who you need to convert view facts as condescending and irrelevant to their decision-making. We are living in a post-facts America, as horrifying as that sounds.
Right now is not the time for ideals; follow those to the t once you've SECURED the presidency. Right now you gotta go low and take dirt shots. Identify and target the insecurities that fuel his ego and pride. Wrap a baseball bat in rusted barbed wire and swing repeatedly at his balls. Over the course of the next two debates, Clinton needs to persuade the Trump constituency that he's weak. If she can't successfully pull that trick out of her hat, who knows which way this piece of shit election crumbles.
The question I have for everyone is: how would you convince bullies (who are all fueled by insecurities masked as egotism) that their leader is fundamentally weak and not worthy of their support? I know the cardinal rule in good branding (and, more importantly, life) is never go negative, but none of this shit is sticking, man. These dick warts are taking over the playground while we scream about principles. So what's the move?
Lastly, Lester Holt is a fucking trashcan.

    • "Wrap a baseball bat with barbed wire and swing repeatedly at his balls" - sounds like a scary feminazirobotron3k
    • Good perspective. Perhaps that would happen during second and third debate but less would watch.2002
    • Other than the lazy pigeon holing of Trump supporters she makes some good points. That is why hilldog will lose though, her whole campaign reeks of self righteoterry_cloth
    • -usness. Labeling people with different views than you as bullies and racists all the time is a sure way to alienate undecided votersterry_cloth
    • ^ ha - like trump doesn't lol - idiot.fadein11
    • fadein mainstream media is complicit with this strategy for usness it a major component along with race bating. old and tired strategy playing itself out.yurimon

Fuck, people who are Trump supporters have such a bleak view on life. Whether their life is shit or they've been duped and made paranoid by the media, they think the US is a warzone and everyone wants to kill them and cheat them.

    • i'd say that statement is probably correct for a large % of people who live on this planet, and not just those who support trumpBluejam
    • Even if it was true, which it mostly isn't, just standing there yelling "law and order" and bitching about how stop and frisk should be brought back is stupidmonospaced
    • It isn't an argument to simply point out issues and blame the White House. He's got to be more specific on what he would do that isn't being done already.monospaced
    • Liberal bubbles. https://abrilcaprich…yurimon
    • what isnt an argument, you guys always make as an argument when convenient.yurimon
    • what a bleak view you have. You must be a Trump supporteromg

    • He is a whiner2002
    • Hillary was horrible. She just gleaned a fake smile and delivered bullshit the entire time.omg
    • It amazes me the difference between what people saw last night. I thought she slaughtered him. It was rather obvious.kona
    • yeah kona, I didnt think it was worth watching, they both sucked. from a superficial primate perspective it looks like she won.yurimon
    • im impressed on the lens blur on her face and technology for makeup is really great. they really nailed the ingredients for the prescription drugs cocktailyurimon
    • to be fair it was designed in her favor trump was debating both her and the moderators.yurimon
    • how was it designed in her favor? bonus if you can answer without pointlessly attacking memonospaced
    • if you pay attention to the questions. hills was unscathed on a few issues. trump was battling both the moderators n hills. if you are hills supporteryurimon
    • it would be most likely overlooked because already favorable bias. from a neutral point of view the debate appears differently.yurimon
    • You're implying that the questions themselves were unfair, but the fact is that it's the answers that count.monospaced
    • If a certain question makes a candidate look bad — either candidate — it's not really anyone's fault besides the candidate who's answering it.monospaced
    • It was comically slanted, whatever, the fox debate will be slanted the other way, sad this is what passes for news agencies now adays thoughterry_cloth
    • considering certain topics were left out yes. however it does make trump look underdogish.yurimon
    • interesting ... that would explain why some people here are upset the questions weren't an interrogation about emails and benghazimonospaced
    • personally, I thought the questions were very fair, with each and every one being strictly about national issues and policies voters care aboutmonospaced
    • see, debates aren't the place to question the candidates about their past, it's a place to literally "debate" the issues .. the other shit happens anywaymonospaced
    • superficially hills won.slight of hand magic trick however they both cam off weird. her face has layer of plastic coating and her drug formula paid offyurimon
    • each question is addressed to both candidates, so the questions can't be candidate-specificmonospaced
    • she looked bit distanced with her constant smiling which plastic. more by how primates perceive her not losing her cool or drawn emotionally as matureyurimon
    • she didn't "win" anything, and if she did, it wasn't because of make-up, or "slight of hand magic trick" as you put it (what?)monospaced
    • trump was better then expected but he came of more of the one that cares as weird as it may seem to some.yurimon
    • mono there wasnt much substance to the whole thing. it was more of pony show. i dont see how people see that there was any substanceyurimon
    • I disagree. I learned a lot about how Trump still feels about certain things, from his understanding of computers and the nuclear situation (wow) ...monospaced
    • ... to how he views the state of the nation, certain unconstitutional policies practices, and even what he thinks about not paying taxes, believe it or not.monospaced
    • We learned a lot about how each plans to approach several topics as well. We also learned Trump is really not improving in his speaking skills also.monospaced
    • The discussion about the TPP was substantial, and they both made clear points about trade. It goes on.monospaced
    • considering your amnesia in light of the current war mongering administration, i disagree, and still cant figure out your logic. random feels.yurimon
