Hello, wanted to get some feedback on an image bookmarking site I made: http://imgfave.com
Just something I whipped up in a weekend using some open source software (obviously heavily inspired by ffffound). My plan is to keep it simple and to keep the focus on design / art / good photography.
Would love to get some feedback from the qbn community.

Having some real trouble using your bookmarklet. I ran into timeout errors and some sites straight up just didn't work at all.

acescence: Weird, never seen that before. I'll definately look into that. Things may be acting a bit strange because I'm getting a lot of traffic from reddit right now... I'm added caching right now so the site doesn't have to make so many database queries.

I get the following error nearly every time:
XML Parsing Error: junk after document element
Location: http://imgfave.com/index.php?act…
Line Number 2, Column 1:<strong>Fatal error</strong>: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in <strong>/home/gragland/public_html/imgfa…</strong> on line <strong>92</strong><br />I haven't gotten it to work even once. Good luck!

I would like to see a grid/thumbnail view option. I agree it looks too similar to ffffound. The different fonts bug me, why not make it uniform throughout? Definitely a decent start

It looks okay, but too similar to ffffound for my liking. It seems to lack creativity and originality, which I think is very important if the site is to be successful.

iliketocreate: Thanks for the feedback! I agree the design is not extremely creative (it's very minimal). Right now I'm mostly focused on building a very easy to use tool for keeping track of images you find online and making it easy for friends and others to follow what your bookmarking. Hopefully the kind of community that forms and the content they bookmark will help steer design changes and new features decisions. So yes, if it becomes a design / art oriented community I'll probably get a bit more creative with the design.
