  I have a Gmail notifier FF extension which does this, so I think it is notifier (no doubt someone will prove me wrong right after I post this).

  I just switched all my mail to gmail from thunderbird, took a fucking lifetime uploading with imap.

  • uploading all my old mail, I mean. I still use TB to check gmail with imap.– Jnr_Madison1/2
