Check out Spitalfield markets on a Sunday, have some sausage and mash in S&M while you're there. Go to the embankment, start at the Design Museum then wander down to the Tate Modern. Check out magma in Clerkenwell for good books n design knick knacks. If you like Thai/asian food, try out either Busaba http://www.london-eating.co.uk/1… or Mango Tree (ate there in Thailand, same owners I believe) http://www.mangotree.org.uk/
And mostly, enjoy yourself, its a great city with lots to do.

Spitalfields market used to be great like 10 years ago - now its an abomination of pseudo-poncey chain restaurants, overpriced faux-bo retro furniture stores and a token 'allowance' of actual stores largely populated by parasitic idiots selling photos of other peoples lame ass 'street art' and wannabe fashion designers selling mindlessly ironic t-shirts to swedish tourists.
It would not surprise me if major stores like the American Apparel start hiring unbranded stalls at these 'markets' and staff them with models and bum-licking actors to schmooze the crowds with.

I'll also be in town, but I'm not much to look at, a sore sight for the eyes really...

"Go to the embankment, start at the Design Museum" > dont bother with that - expensive entry fee and not worth it....Tate Modern for sure - White Cube - Serpentine gallery (all details online)....go for food at the St Johns Restaurant in Shoreditch (Commercial Rd)

omg, how could we forget?
CARNIVAL!!!!
This will of course be slagged off by a lot of designers in here who don't like the idea of partying with 2 million people in the street, but I'm a west londoner so I have to love it as I can't avoid it.
Good Times!
Sancho Panza!!
