Anyone suffer from this? I constantly smell cigarette smoke but only when at work, and occasionally at home. Only one other person here smells it but never at the same time as me.
I did a Google search and apparently loads of people experience the same thing:

I've read about this after I've finished watching some BBC documentary about human body..
You are experiencing hallucination aka phantom smell - the smell of something burning is very common with this phenomenon. It can be caused by many things, the most concerning of all is a brain tumor.
read more about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bra…"Symptoms include phantom odors and tastes. Often, in the case of metastatic tumors, the smell of vulcanized rubber is prevalent."

Thing is I can walk ten steps and don't get the sensation anymore. And it's not just smelling it. In fact I don't really smell it as such, I feel it. My throat is dry, my eyes sting. The person across from me gets it occasionally but never as much as I do. I never sense it outside, rarely at home, but there's one seat inside the local Starbucks that triggers it off again.

I am sure someone just walks by that just recently smoke or didn't wash their clothes and they smell. I can smell smoke on people constantly.
or it's a tumor.

You're not one of those 'Canadians' who use their hand as an ashtray then wipes it on their gonx?
