I'm pretty sure that every single design agency has that one "A/V Engineer" who's 5'4, mustached, wears Yankees memorabilia, tucks his shirt into his jeans, is always whistling as he roams around the building, and is a good 30 years older than anyone else, merrily going about his way fixing conference room screens or programming remotes.
Something tells me, this guy is secretly way more interesting than the kid with blue hair at the coffee bar.

If you do have a guy like that at your office, make friends with him. And then make friends with the IT guys. That will help you more than you know.
