I fucking hate car dealers. I have been back and forth with a bunch of these mother fuckers from infiniti and I want to punch each of them in the face.
I have been looking at a G35x and after playing the game I was now quoted $70 less than the original offer. WTF couldn't we just skip all the bullshit.
anybody got any horror stories out there? please post 'em

Try a dealer where they have to work harder for sales. If you're buying in a somewhat affluent area they know that if you don't buy the next person will. I feel for you. Good luck.

Try a smaller dealer. They always try to move cars off the lot and usually work harder than the big ones. Tell them you'd love to walk off the lot today with a new car and to make it happen.

Just don't play with them. Do the research, know what you should pay, if they can't get it sorted in short order (those fuckers will keep you for hours if you let them) take your business elsewhere.
You wouldn't put up with bullshit for any other purchase, why put up with it for your highest-priced, fastest depreciating recurring expense?

Try getting a costco membership. Then go to costcoauto.com and select your car. No joke. The dealership then calls/emails you with the car you're looking for and gives you a badass discount. They have a no-haggle policy and its saved me about $2k when I bought my 07 VW Rabbit.

Also, if you're financing, try and get pre-approved through a lender other than the dealership. You'll get a lower rate. Unless your credit sucks.
