Don Draper becomes a hijacker.
- this has to be somewhere close to the truth i reckon..._me_
- That write up took a lot of effort.newuser
- I really love the imagination of that article, and while i'm sure this will be the end of the "don draper" identity, i don't think it willbulletfactory
- shake out to be D.B. Cooper - I mean $200k? He has way more than that already.bulletfactory

- I hate that embarrassed felling that you get for other people so much.mg33
- The crowd howling... so dreadful.mg33

The show is coming back, but does anyone care?
Nothing happened last season except everyone got more unhappy and Don left his job.

First ep of S7 - pretty much a regular relationship period drama show now - absolutely nothing to do with advertising...
I'm still gonna watch as i truly want to see how it ends... but as for any credibility to the world of advertising in the 60s/70s - thats pretty much long gone....

This season has been pretty meh (both halves), but the last episode was pretty good. Really just want to see how this thing ends.

If his past identity doesn't catch up to him again, I'll be disappointed.

the move to McCann Ericson has been riveting...the first few episodes felt like they were sleepwalking through their performances...but the last two have been amazing....

I have no idea how they're going to wrap this thing up in an hour. The preview for the final episode showed too many hints at so many different things.

- Their coming attractions have never made any sense.CyBrainX

i really want the db cooper theory to pan out.
- it's all the way down
http://en.wikipedia.…sted - I don't know what this has to do with the show but the show is in 1970 now.CyBrainX

i think this season is just following the path focusing more deep on the characters, what we see in this professionally had a highpoint at the carousel scene and no pitch or idea was be able to beat that (this is where deep facef*ck was given to any of the writers).
for 4 seasons isn't so bad to survive on midweight presentations and showing the agency tools of the time, drinking and fucking. (no offense but anyone see a f. drawing? :)
but it' was time to move on with the people. showing their strengths, weaknesses and where they belong moraly :) the end of the story is just eeeh sold as a happy ending.

Too many side stories still popping up for no reason. The show has no direction.
Did we really need to see Joan find a guy?
- No kidding. The creepy Glenn kid, Pete's kid's schooling... these are unnecessary.mg33
- I think Joan's guy is simply so the audience knows, between him and the pay-out money, she'll be alright. Hopefully she'll be happy.ETM
- The Pete's kid thing is a hint that maybe he and his wife realize they love each other and could get back together.ETM
- The Glenn kid going to Nam I think is just a great reminder of the times and decade they are in.ETM
- Plus, all-in-all a fan, service to touch on every character given the last season.ETM
- Yeah I agree with ETM. They're setting up the proper exits these characters deserve.Al_dizzle
- So ETM, is Betty's husband going to have more lines soon?freedom
- Did he not have a milkshake? What more does the character deserve?ETM

this is seriously some of the best mad men yet. weiner gives no fucks about the audience and is just telling a life story. incredible.
- man to man, happy to see something like this: http://www.lettersof…sted
- Great letter. It makes more sense today than when it was written.CyBrainX

WTF - I actually thought that last night's episode was the final episode. If you watched it, can you imagine my reaction at both the entire episode and the ending? I almost lost it then saw the preview for next week, the actual final episode, and was both relieved and shocked.
- same heremonospaced
- haha that must have been a tripcolin_s
- same here.ronburgundy
- It was pretty surreal. To imagine them ending with Don smiling on a bus bench in BFE, I just could't believe it.mg33
- yep, plenty of closure already...jaylarson

Peggy and Stan's ending seemed forced.
I feel kind of let down by the entire episode really.Ah well, it was good while it lasted.
