I've seen enough. Much respect to Shepard, but lets see something new.

    • not going to happen buddyJG_LB1/2
It's distinctive though. Many artists have distinct styles. This contributes to their popularity.Jaline2/2

I don't get the relevance of that revolutionary propaganda style in an over-cosmetised prime-time blood soap?

you can say what you want about the guy, that he ripped others ideas, etc.

But now he's got huge, he has developed his own style and he stays there, people recognize his work and lame brands come to him in search of the coolness his look will bring to the brand.

I would love to have a style of my own, and people would give lots of money just to stamp my logo on their product, this segment of an artist's life should be televised into a reality show.

the show should be called "ultimate whoring"
designers/ artists sell their (ex subversive/ anti establishment idealistic) soul to corporations of all sort. Save lots of money, move to another country, retire and spend the rest of your life learning how to play drums.

    • exactly (I said the shorter version of this four posts above, in the note)Jaline1/4

Dexter really didn't need the help. Everyone here at work watches it, and we don't even get Showtime in this country as far as I know.

    • hahaha.
      great marketing!

Fairey is good (though this is not his best work). The poster he did for Walk The Line did it for me.

However, I personally would get bored making everything look the same. I like going into a project with absolutely no preconceived notions about the final product.

    • great poster, but really sloppy if you study it close.epigraph

"Power-saw to the people" is fairly clever, did he come up with that?

    • i think its a bad stretch to connect the show with his style of work... other than that no substance at all.horton

    gramme:
maybe he tries to do something new..
but the client is like.. yeah.. this is great but could you just make it look like your other work? yeah.. and please put your logo there, we want everyone to know we are paying you to do this ok?

is kinda like the actor of Napoleon Dynamite.
No matter what he does, you are always dissapointed he is not wearing glasses, wig and yelling gosh to pedro,

    that's it.

    • no other road, you have to join the cast of "ultimate whoring"Meeklo

Interesting factoid, a club a few blocks down the street from me was completely designed by him (all the interior design and artwork).
