  I'm designing a logo for a new pizza chain and was wondering if San Francisco had streetlights/lamps that would be recognizable as being from the area. I'd like to be accurate in terms of showing the correct shape of the lamp. Maybe something from a popular district or avenue of SF?

  I tried Google and got a lot too many varying things. SFer's help me out!

  mmm... id google map san francisco and do the 'street view'. check out market street where it intersects with 17th, and market along 3rd street. I believe they are corinthian.

  whenever I walk the streets there I look down to make sure I don't walk in human feces. I never noticed the street lamps.

  philippe starck designed some really cool street lights that are out in front of the moscone center. the tops rotate down then the lights come on.
