Yup. It's a joke. Health Care is becoming like Dental Care...almost useless.

Yep. I may just cancel my work insurance and get a personal plan. How ridiculous...I just had to cancel my MRI because I can't afford it.

I recently discovered, by way of a co-worker, that having a cancerous mole removed is "cosmetic" and not covered under some plans.

man that's really expensive. what does that cover? (btw: i'm in australia so a totally different setup).

    • It doesn't really pay for anything until after the deductible is met. I still have co-pays but end up getting billed for the difference until I'm over the 2400.Josev1/2

does it act as a medical insurance for accidents / heinous problems like cancer / tumor / etc?

    • yes. So it's good in that you dont pay more than your yearly premium plus the deductible if you were to get cancer or something like thatJosev1/3
      something catastrophic.Josev2/3
