So my bro is turning 40 soon and I want to plan something kick butt to do. My problem is that it can't be too expensive, require lots of travel or upfront training (due to time restraints) and it's gotta involve the risk of serious injury or death :)
Ideas I've already shot down...
1. skydiving - been there, done that.
2. racing school - too expensive
3. ride in a fighter jet - too expensive
4. bungee, zipline, etc. - after skydiving, these seem too tame.
5. zorbing - can't find places close and seems kinda boring.Anyone got any ideas?

Well...can't really beat skydiving for craziness....but after trying both...I think Bungee is actually a little more frightening. I guess the possibility of death seems more immediate.
How about:
Swimming with sharks/ shark cage
Hot air balloning
Hangliding
Learn to Fly - introductory lesson...not that expensive
Dogfighting: http://www.incredible-adventures…
Ultalight
Surfing lessons

How about a ride down a bobsled run?
It's only $45 CDN at the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta.
