Cinema 4d Problems

I just got a Cinema 4d 10 update at one of my gigs. Cool, I thought... its has a new interface.But:
While I was working on my next project:
I had to grab some points on a logo....
to extrude in 3d like usual...
so I exported ILLY 8 like usual...
brought it into 10.5...
But is extrude is not an option
..see it's greyed out....WHATS UP WITH THAT?!?!
anything I am doing wrong?

Here are the export options:
- rock&roll0
looks like you have the logo in just outlines. the vector should be a solid filled object. if you are looking to extrude the lines then you need to convert them to fill's not sure if you have done that or not.

- Not the case. The outlines look correct, if he wants to extrude the entire shape. If he wants to extrude only the outline of the shape, he needs to Outline Stroke, first.digitalswarm

did you try saving it as an illy 8 .ai instead of an .eps? maybe that'll work. i've never had this issue with 10.5

iv always been taught to import a .eps or .ai as a illustrator 3 file it will come up with a error messege when saving it. but never had a problem in C4D
