  Dropbox installed Growl onto my computer and I think it has to do with Growl. Ive been trying to uninstall this mother but it seems like it wants to play games with me. If it really is an issue with growl than Drop Box is going to hear alot of shit from me.

  ok so I just got off the phone with apple care and I have to bring my mac in to the apple store. This sucks.

  Have you reset the PRAM? Does it get far enough for you to boot off an external/OSX DVD?
