I'm getting married in September and want the simplest ring possible... tried one on today that was plain but bevelled and even that was too much... also I'm a fat handed twat and never wear any jewelry, anyone know of any good sites that do them? platinum preferably... ta very much!

looks as if they don't have a site...but you can look at this:
http://svstudio.com/sv_stage_fin…i walk by it every day. the stuff they produce is fantastic. although i'm sure you are looking for something on that side of the pond.

I'm in the same boat and really liked the rings with comfort fit. For me, I like the standard silver/white gold finish. Another guy at work here has one that's straight, almost like it was cut from a pipe. Let me know what you find, and if you want more info.

mine is a straight, really wide platinum band (.5" wide). i had never worn jewelry before i got married 2 years ago (as of July 1) - i barely notice it now.

My wedding is also in September. After searching around I went to tiffany for their Lucinda platinum band.

here's a crappy pic of mine.
it's made out of titanium ( light as hell), and I paid like $100 for it. I'm not into the bling bling and my wife got to spend a lot more on hers =)All I really wanted was my interpretation of a family tree carved into it ( me, my wife, my son) and this guy was great to work with! http://www.boonerings.com/
He does some nice engagement rings too http://www.boonerings.com/stone.…

My wife and I got our wedding bands from Niwaka. They have lots of minimal designs (more so than the site shows) if you request their catalog. It comes beautifully packaged as well.
http://www.niwaka.com/As for her engagement ring, I picked out a stone (sapphire) and we designed it with a local/independant jeweler dude together.
