Anyone know of any firms specializing in building and rigging 3D models of cars? The kind that would go in broadcast spots.

I wonder how much a firm would charge. If you wanted to go on the cheap look for a freelancer"

Prefereably in the US, would be great. Looking for the real deal, not 'on the cheap' or freelancers (unless they are gods and can read engineering docs). Thanks!!

Not sure. Client is fishing for quotes and such. I am assuming exact replica of new model.

You may want to talk to RTT USA. They provide CAD services for loads of automotive brands. If your client is in their list, there´s a good chance they already got the vehicle modeled down to the screws. If not they can give you the numbers you need.
We once used one of their exports for a website. Being based on original CAD-Data, the models are accurate enough for close-ups and such.
