Is that a question or an answer?

The last I heard was that Steve Jobs said that Flash Lite was too weak for the iPhone. He never said whether Flash was out altogether.

Apple and Adobe competition is fierce. No love there.

Sadly, no - you don't get Flash on the iPhone (yet). YouTube does work via it's own special program, though.

Just to be clear, we're talking about the 2nd Generation of the iPhone, which is due to be releases soon, maybe the end of the month on the one year anniversary of the first generation.

    - apple: Flash will never work on the iphone

    - consumers response: no flash? then I won't hold for the new version and will buy it now. I never really liked flash anyways..

    - apple (45 days later): new iphone, now with flash

consumers response: what? flash on an ihpone? I have to have it!
Finally, I been waiting for this for a while, whoooo hoooo!!

    • and this is such a normal pattern with appleMeeklo1/2

Hopefully there will be a firmware update and they will support both iphone 1.0 and iphone 2.0.

You did not see the G4 get outdated with key software when the G5 came out. G4 support still was strong.

Apple is becoming more like Microsoft every day. The bigger that they get, the more arrogant they become.
