wow... been wrestling with linux for a few weeks now....
had my macbook pro stolen so im now using an OLD VAIO laptop so i thought a linux distro could ressurect my dying VAIO....
i have gone thru testing 12 different live cds/installs and so far i really like gOS(thinkgos.com) b/c i have had a nice "mac" feel with the ability to add more software then i thought i could ever find....
gimp sucks as a replacement for PhotoshopCS4 Extended... but its free...
im sick of that excuse. i want someone (ill help) to design a better multithreaded graphics editing app for linux.
a real good illustrator replacement that can actually open .ai files would be GREAT too!
