  So my in-laws are staying at my house for a week. They're not so bad but I had to let the mother-in-law watch Idol on the big HD screen while I watched the NBA playoffs on the tiny bedroom t.v. And my father in law only watches FOX news and yells at the TV every time a democrat is on.

  I'm pretty fortunate..
  both my in-laws are pretty incredible...well educated, liberal leaning etc... my father-in law is probably one of the coolest guys i know...(his one flaw may be to wax on about india in the same way that the dad in 'my big fat greek wedding' goes on about Greece...
  you know the drill...india invented this-that-and the other thing'...
  harmless tho, and to be honest, i've learned a shit load about the country...

  plus, to top it off, my mother in law makes (quite possibly) the best chicken curry in the known universe.
