- wrong thread......j/k :-)formed
- hmm... maybe you're right.dorf
- Actually, the friend who I go kayaking with has just bought one, or one v. similar. Options and settings for days. Large, too. My Gear S2 does enough for me.face_melter
- She does (winter) ice skating and orienteering and wanted something hardy with decent GPS. Early doors, but she seems to like it.face_melter
- Garmin 25 will permit your heart price to teach in the zones. .http://garminforeru...Markfleming11

- lol, it' it's "bit tacky" then why did you order it?formed
- Because I like it anyway. :)Continuity
- as long as you like it, the face does look like a football fieldpinkfloyd
- I heard the same reaction from a person who bought diesel shoes (the wresting looking ones). It's tacky but they needed it for some reason.SoulFly

- ^ I had a couple of pairs of Diesel trainers years ago, but they had the same shape as football boots or Tigers, with far fewer garish markings than these one.Continuity
- Worst watches ever. Bought one like 5 years ago. Ran so slow the morning after buying it there was literally a 12-hour time difference.VectorMasked
- Tested it for 2 more days and same story. Returned it and got another Diesel watch. Exact same issue with it running slow. 2 days later demanded my money back.VectorMasked
- < And of course it didn't look like this one. Looks like what a Persian douchebag would buy.VectorMasked
- I like it but the face could be a bit less busy. It's line-happy.CyBrainX

- do you have auto-winders for the automatics?formed
- I personally don't like winders. They are convenient, but I don't want to pay for it since they add exra mileage to the watches.pinkfloyd
- sweet m&m watch!fooler
- nice case. i have that exact g shock too... great watch. oh, and nice daytona too, haha.showpony
- "they add exra mileage to the watches". What? No. If you don't wind them they stop. Constant starts and restarts are what dries/stress auto watches.Peter

- I like the inverted screenpinkfloyd
- i had an inverted g-shock once, it was way harder to read than the regularterry_cloth

I had a 50% card from Nixon so I decided to buy a few of their most expensive watches. This Nixon Night Ranger looks great and Tritium tubes are so bright I don't care that they're making me sterile but the metal clasp on the band broke after 9 months. They are replacing the band under warranty but at the $750 MSRP this is unacceptable. I will never buy another Nixon again even at half off.
- I've had some bad luck with Nixon watches too. Customer service has always been good, but the fact that the watch kept breaking made me skeptical of the brand.nocomply
- yeah, nixon is all style and little substance. the finishes are cheap, the clasps break and movement is junk. great for a starter watches (the cheaper ones)...showpony
