  I read up on HPV about 5 years ago and yes, it is everywhere. A good percentage of men carry it. Won't really do any thing to the male gender, but the females risks can be deadly.

  thank god for the hpv vaccine now. Is it just me or is this sort of a newish thing? I never hear of it until maybe a few years ago. But, I guess it's been 8years since I've been in high school sex ed.

  I don't know why every woman doesn't run out in get the vaccine. I'll take my changes. So many guys have HPV and never know it. They hardly even test guys unless you specifically asked for it up until very recently.

  If girls get it -- the changes of getting cervical cancer goes way the hellup.

  I also remember hearing about a girl who became paralyzed two days after taking this vaccine.

  I've also heard that women over a certain age can't take the injection they have to use a pill form, but I could be wrong about that.

  This is marketing (fear mongering?) pure and simple.

  HPV was a non-issue until they released a vaccine for it (a very expensive vaccine at that, something like $300 a go). but now that they have a vaccine, HPV is a menace. 50% will die of cervical cancer unless you buy the vaccine... or the terrorists win.

  even sadder is the push to have this vaccine as mandatory for young girls and boys. There's going to be a whole generation of guinea pigs to find out how safe it really is.
