So say a client wants a html emailer but won't give you their mailing list for confidentiality reasons. How do you get around that without getting banned from your friendly mail management people for sending it once to your client while they then send it on to 500 people (even though it is a clean internal list)?

sign an NDA

I wish it were so straight forward...
Any other suggestions?

srsly if they dont trust you an NDA gets you by the balls so that should be enough.
otherwise theyre gonna have to set up their own campaign monitor account and have you talk them through setting it up and inputting your artwork.

Try Campaign Monitors - Mail Build

Should be a non-issue. Generally there are companies that specifically do email blasts after you hand them the creative.

send them the creative... let them do their own.

Can you recommend any? We have used mailchimp but they - rightly - arent happy about us sending out one email to the client then the client forwarding it on to 500 other people. Loss of revenue and spamming issues. If you know of any other company who are less picky that would be great.

^skt unfortunately thats not an option.

^sherman - we have used that in the past with great results but the client doesnt want to do that.
