Does any find firefox crashing frequently?

Started happening to me in the past couple weeks on both MS XP and Vista. Works great on Mac OSX...

I've uninstalled, reinstalled and it still happens. Now, I'm not pointing any fingers but this started after a recent MS update. I just find it strange that Firefox goes from super stable and fast to being crap...

    Anybody else seeing this happening?

yah beta 3 is better tho dont expect your extensions to work out of the box!

problem is ff stores loads of crap on your hd and leaks ram like no bodies business... its best practice to close it down and run ccleaner a few times a day to maintain performance.

    • isn't ccleaner for pc only.Daro1/2
didn't know about ccleaner. looks like its running much better now. thanks trooper.IRNlun62/2

I used to love Firefox. On my work computer I have major CPU issues with it and when it crashes I hit the End Now button and it never wants to close. It's a shame really. My home computer can handle it better but I have switched to Opera for most purposes.

I've noticed QBN and Yahoo Mail tend to crash FF for me every once in a while.

I use OmniWeb and FF on a Mac, and FF on a PC.

Omniweb is great but there are random glitches that need to be worked out. Otherwise, it is the best one.
