    In the olden days, a plane crash or a terrorist act could kill a business (Pan-Am). Todays incident, however, I think (in a weird kind of way) is a positive thing for BA. Yeah, there was obviously some big problem, but everyone got out OK.

    It wouldn't put me off using them.

    • it was delta that killed pan-am not a plane crash. Pan-Am sued Delta and won but that was not resolved until years after they went under. They currently have a clipper flight service going though.mightyj

    yeah, as long as they have blow up slides, i don't mind if the pilot can't hit the fucking runway... bonus points to BA.

    I like this, the injuries come second to the Prime Minister flight delay.

    "A passenger jet landed short of the runway at Heathrow airport on Thursday, forcing Prime Minister Gordon Brown to delay his trip to China as his plane was on the runway waiting to take off. Three people were reported injured."
