    Hello there, I was just sat here thinking about where I'd like to try and push my work this year in terms of the kind of aesthetic and concept. Anyone got any thoughts about new directions and influences this year?

    Okay, so lets summarise the first round of brainstorming and then get some more ideas on the moodboard...

    Uppercase - not just for letters?
    Cyan - 100%? or tinting for 08?
    Games - Continuation of theme? or paradigm shift? If so, what.
    Vehicles - Any particular mode? Cycle vs Tanks... discuss.
    Death - Ubiquitous theme? Or a new cultural death? Death of Ideologies? Death of Post-Post modern discourse? Discuss?
    Arrows - 45degrees. Direction? Fat? or thin? long tailed with fancy heads? or info-graphicalistic simplisitifiedicationism?
    Meat - The new plywood? For Graphics? For environment/interior design? Laminated Meats as Structural material? Organice Architecture? Discuss.

    Okay. Great Start People. Lets keep storming here, I think we are already seeing maximal potentiality with these acorns.

    i have it on good authority that the new THING for 2008 will be distorted reflections under text/logos.

    rather than just a straight reflection, they will feature ripples or waves etc so the logo/text is floating on water.

    people who have the skills will be able to animate the image to make it "true to life"

    So i guess design wont be to far from this colour.

    In terms of graphic language i would say we will be around organic shapes in image and in vector.
