A few people have approached me about buying photographs from me over the last few months so I have decided to put a basic site up. I will only be selling like 50-60 photos at a time so I didn't think it was worth creating a full e-commerce monster.
Any feed back though would be much appreciated as now I'm thinking the site might be a bit toy?

You got some wonderful images in there. I love the blue beach houses.
You might also consider making them available for stock or commercial purposes.

(Nov 13 07, 03:37)Cheers mate, I thought about stock image libraries but I'm not really trying to make bulk cash, just limited runs of prints for those that want to hang them. The money is just going back into more camera gear...
You think I should make it "Jamie's Photographs" everywhere except the url?

Nice work mate. Lovin the photos.
Couple of things, i'd get rid of that landscape thing in the top bar. I thought it was just some wierd autotraced texture until i looked closer. But yeh dont think it's neccesary. I'd probably also take out the background wallpaper texture.....its nice but doesnt really reflect your photography in any way. Kinda makes it look a bit fashiony or restauranty. Other thing i would say is instead of that thumbnail/slidefilm image you have on the homepage, i'd hit with one large image. Pick 5 and have them load on random. At the moment it doesnt have enough impact on that homepage
oh and send me that smiths one for my wallpaper!!!
You need to take photos up the other end of the bay......the water gets twice as blue and clear!nice stuff mate!!

This photos are nice but in terms of selling there are big issues, imo. I would think Purchase Prints would allow me to do that. Having to email you to arrange a payment is less than ideal. I think there is a usabilty issue in the disconnect between the prices and the images. I now have to remember or write down the image titles, review the price list page, then email you to arrange payment. Unless someone is completely obsessed with your work I doubt many people will bother. Just being realistic from a usability perspective.

(Nov 13 07, 09:22)Yeah I can build in some sort of shopping cart I suppose. I might look into ways I can accept payments, not that many people use paypal here.
