Watched it yesterday, definitely interesting, I'm a bit skeptical how ever what really struck me was I had never heard about building 7 which I thought was weird.
It sure did inspire me to start thinking about looking into ancient religions.

"This is just a ride" <-- so true
Yea I have seen it twice , and yes it makes for good conversation.not sold that 911 was an inside job , but more of a catapult for the war thirsty elite , cause like Mc Cain said "there will be more wars"

i liked the sequencing, but the data is misinformed and full of fallacies.

I found a bunch of evidence that debunks the movie when dobs brought it up a while ago. Let's see if I can dig 'er up...

just finished part 1
DOPE, brilliant...
Theres some great stuff in there.... although i disagree with some of it, (i do believe jesus walked this earth), i agree that the romans used the story and modified it for purposes of control.
Believe It!
now for part 2... oh dear...
- jesus was julius ceasar.. another interesting documentary a friend of mine did the editing for...9832892398

Sounds like some great creative writing. I'm sure Tom Harpur did a lot of research on his book "Pagan Christ", but people who have based their lives on the study of Egypt and it's culture (egyptologists) have another take, which seems more credible based on their credentials:
"Reactions of Egyptologists:
Ward Gasque, a volunteer book reviewer for Amazon.com surveyed twenty contemporary Egyptologists. He asked them about the origins of Jesus' name, the relationship between Horus and Jesus, whether both experienced a virgin birth, and whether the Egyptian religion considered Hourus to be an incarnation of God.
Ten responded, They agreed:
Jesus' name is a Greek form of a very common Semitic name Jeshu'a, which is normally translated into English as Joshua.
There is no evidence that Horus was born of a virgin, that he had twelve disciples, or that he was considered incarnation of God."

(Aug 25 07, 14:09)OK so maybe that's not a "mountain" of evidence, but I think that squarely answers the false Egyptian parallels. I plan to look into the other nonsense this movie spouts as time allows.

Enter respothe dudes point was that religion is used over and over again for purposes of control. hence why he spoke of jesus and all kinds of other avatar like figures.

(Aug 15 07, 01:38)Quite. Part 3 was the craziness for me. 1 & 2 are painfully obvious in my opinion.
I recently read Celestine Prophecy as well - which is a bit older. It was so strange reading a book that was in line with basically every thought I'd ever had about the universe. As though he was reading my mind - even if the concepts aren't new.

The religion stuff seemed fairly convincing. But the ending of the thing saying that the money changers are in control and they are going to imprison us with the mark of the beast....WTF?

Baraka is awe-inspiring; I've seen it a dozen times.
I've only seen the first of the Katsi movies and the music put me off. As well as the boring footage.

just caught this on netflix, so late to the party. I really wanted to like it and was hooked for the first half hour until you do a little fact checking and see the whole first part is complete made up bullshit. So disappointed.
And on Christmas, sorry Jesus lol.

I watched this movie a week or so ago... actually watched it twice so far. Great movie!
One thing I find interesting is that in Revelations it talks about a one world government and the mark of the "beast." In part one of the movie he talks about the "end of the age" being 2150. I can totally see that happening the way things are going in the world.
