That, and Photoshop has just always been more accurate, i.e. the gap between display and print is tighter than in Illy.

(Jul 31 07, 09:40)Really? I've always found AI's PMS-CMYK values to be more accurate? I think they are the values that the Pantone solid to process book provides.

Ok thanks, I think I got it.
Just for my education, why does PS and Illy vary in values? Just because PMS is totally unrelated to RGB?

Usually the Pantone Color Bridge gives you a CMYK, RGB and HTML color conversion but what MrD just sent you works as well.

I entered a PMS color in both Photoshop and Illustrator, then switched to RGB palette and the RGB values do not match between PS and Illy.
Any recommendations on getting the closest RGB from Pantone?
