Going to be popping down to good old London to check out Adobe Live this year.
Can anyone recommend any good/cheapish ("keep your expenses down...") hotels in the Islington/Business Design Centre area.
Thanks.

*cough
Is anyone even going?!

adobe live is just a plug for adobe products, a pitch if you will.
if you know about the products and are not buying the visit will be a bit of a waste.
this is just my opnion.that said, there is a hilton right next to the BDC. I've stayed there a few times and it worked out around £50 a night.

That's what I figured... it's a plug sure, but some of the speakers should be interesting to see regardless... and it's free, and it's two days out of the office :)
Just checked out the Hilton... £200 a night... I think not.
Where you book it for £50?
- Raniator0
Already have... thanks.
No worries, it turns out that there is a 'preferred chain' that we use, so it's not up to me.

Who went then?

I went.
Saw some guys talking about 3D games which was interesting, then some guy talking about his Flash website work (how some snazzy animation about trainers is just what you want from the web as opposed to porn, torrents and message boards).
Kind of missable really.

Yeah, didn't really excite me to be honest...
Is Brody always that un-charismatic?

Did anyone ask'em why they over charger us for the software in the UK?
- Raniator0
Don't know. I didn't...
Good point though.
