  I am an admitted actionscript
  "r tard". I am pretty decent at flash, but I could really use a book that would help me become a better flash designer. I need Something that isn't so actionscript heavy. Does any one know of a book that has tricks and tips presented as real
  projects that a designer would work on on a daily basis.

  the "flash hacks" book is pretty good. http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/f…

  not for AS2 or flash 8 but still good i guess.
