Does anyone know if its possible to use CSS styling on an embedded font in Flash - I could really do with being able to use both, but whenever I try embedding the font it stops working.

    Any ideas appreciated!!!

it is possible but not all tags and style attrributes are supported - you also need to make sure if you are using special characters (ie ♥) that the font supports those characters. flash help will tell you which tags and attributes are supported

Thanks for the reply Undo. I'm not actually using anything out of the ordinary - just etc etc - all the text just disappears once I click Embed...odd.

you might want to try embedding the font through the library. goto the little arrow at the top right and click new font, select the font, size etc and click ok. then goto your text field and select the font (with the name you gave it) from the list. the font you added to the library will have a little asterix next to it

not sure about the alpha property but x and y should be no problem

make sure you're not trying to make the font bold or italic in your css as this will make it look for a font not embedded
