  It's just clever masking and tweening.

  Btw, that site ripped off http://www.interone.de , which predated greenovia by quite a bit.

  If you don't know how to mask or tween, download a copy of flash and start going through the tutorials, examples, and help files. if you understand those 2 very basic concepts, you can easily see how to accomplish this effect.

  yes, masking and tweening. i think the timing is the key element to make it look nice and smooth.
