is there any way to resize an image in flash w/out it having that antialiased effect? it needs to remain crisp as it's one of them eboy-type pixel images.
go easy on the fried critters.

you can turn smoothing off. dunno if that'll help.

nope, doesn't fix 'em.
i've tried using _xscale/_yscale and _width/_height, set the images quality to 100% and crossed my pinky toes.

other than i don't think there are any options. maybe someone else's know. if you happen to know that eboy pulled it off w/ flash you might want to mail them (they're quite helpfull).

you probably need to get it looking right in photoshop and import a bitmap into flash. don't resize it in flash.

tried it already. that alone doesn't do much.

try setting the width and height to the exact dimensions of the image, and making sure that the x and y are whole numbers (as in 128 and not 127.9 etc).
just an idea..

you must place the image on the stage and 'Trace Bitmap' and use the setting 'pixels' and 'many corners'. that sould work
