ok..my turn i guess...
been working on stuff for this one client for ages...icons, logos, software images..etc...
my contact there is an old friend from a previous company, and he's been excellent througout..
but the boss..
where do i start...
christ..
the project im on is in several phases..and it's fixed bid..and the fucker has bludgeoned me with it..endless change requests, ruining my concepts, etc...
one of the phases was designing icons for some software...this was completed months ago..
nothing..not a word from him..
we've been workin on finishing up the job, when out of nowhere,
he starts bitching bout the icons, how they don't meet his specs, blah blah blah..
(just spoke with my contact, turns out the fucker was viewing the icons in 4bit, didn't even realize it...of course they looked bad...dumbass...i KNEW they were fine...)
anyhow, i've had it..
i've sweated blood over this contract, and worked a ton of late nights doing really good work, just to get treated like crap and have my hard work thrown in my face..i finished up the last of the work just now, and i do believe i'm going to fire them in the morning..
give me my fucking money, and never call me again..(my buddy is going to call it quits there too...just got off the phone with him, and he says that the boss is always like this..thinks he can get his way by bullying..)
anyhow, it's been ages since i had to deal with an asshole client...guess i just had to vent...
it just sucks to do what you think is really excellent work, just to be treated like a doormat..
not worth it...
