It's annoying to receive emails with photos from the internet that were funny 5 years ago. I want to timeline them so bad but it's rude.

How can one live in a country where its government has enough evidence to prove it staged the mass killings in 9/11 to justify going to war?

OK, I could be mental but....
When falling asleep, with your eyes definitely shut, ever hear a random unexpected sound (like a creeky floorboard, a clicky radiator cooling or whatever) and then see a bright flash of light (with your eyes shut) sometimes with an odd geometric pattern, which corresponds to the sound? There's definitely a sound, there definitely isn't really a flash of light, but you have for some reason perceived the visual with the auditory stimulation.... it's like your brains sound and visual processing has got it's wires crossed...
Been looking into this. There's this thing called "exploding head syndrome".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exp…
Although it sounds similar, it isn't that though, EHS usually happens when you've been sleeping for a while and imagine both the sound and the flash.
- Oh and I should mention that drugs and alcohol don't have to be involved :Pkalkal
- pineal glandset
- Ultimate question is, could it be an underlying problem or just normal/a non problemkalkal
- Doesn't cause me to loose loads of extra sleep but when it happens, I go from nodding off to wide awake again for a short periodkalkal

- that was scary....always hitting before going falling asleep.ApeRobot
- exactly! It was very scary but I never told my parents about it. I tought it was ''normal'' or something.benfal99

^^ I had a reoccurring dream as a kid, I was in a vast empty room and over on the other side was a receptionist at her desk.
She was simultaneously about 100ft away at the other side of this room but also right next to me. My depth perception was completely fucked and she was far away and close at the same time. Probably had the dream 100 times as a child.

^^
I was wide awake,my depth perception was fucked up, my room was changing proportions, everything was black and white, feeling dizzy...Almost like when closing you're eyes when too drunk. Also , i had the feeling that i had sand in my hands, trying to keep it between my fingers, but it keeps on dripping.
- has stopped around 10yrs old.ApeRobot
- embrace it, explore it...set
- oh, it's stopped..
:)set - My brother had similar depth perception distortion as a child as well, seems to be quite common..set
- You can explore it ,only if you're familiar with being altered by drugs or booze. But i was too young.ApeRobot
- Yea sorry I hadn't seen your note saying it had stopped at 10, thought you were still experiencing it...set
- I like your lbdk website, btw..set

I feel much less crazy now.
- I've experienced a similar thing when falling asleep. I would get audio hallucinations but mine sound likeHijoDMaite
- a loud flutter, like a bird or moth. sometimes I hear a very distinct voice that may say one word and it wakes me up.HijoDMaite
- I did a lot of LSD in H.S.HijoDMaite

My most memorable 'dream' as a child was one of a raging battlefield. I was lying on the floor looking up around me at a horrendous battlefield. People were shouting and fighting and smashing against each other, it was really quite disturbing.
The strangest thing about it is that I woke up, and opened my eyes to try and get away from the awful scene, and I could still see it happening even after opening my eyes! It felt very real and very scary, and it's the only time I've had a dream happening while I was awake and eyes open.
I've often wondered if that was a vision of my death from a past life.
