    I'm looking at dedicating a P2 350 Win 98 Machine for recording.

Any one have any advice as to a sound card/hardware solution for multi-mic input, and playback & record functions? I'm using Cool Edit and would love to be able to record multiple tracks simultaniously.

I'm hoping there might be some old technology out there that I could find for a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

you might be able to get protools to work on that setup - not work that well but work

Prottols would cost me way more then the machine is worth. I'm hoping there is a much simpler/cheaper solution.

I've used ACID to record in the past and it was pretty good. About $100 I think

    I recorded this with it

Your MP3 gave me a pleasant Flash back to my drunken Youth.

As for ACID I'm good as far as software's concerned. I'm looking more for something like a mixer that will allow me to record multiple tracks at once.
